  1. Shop Eight 16 Consignment accepts, prices, and sells your items. Consignors receive a percentage of the final sale price after taxes and fees, which is immediately credited to their accounts.
    • Consignors receive 40% for all consigned items.
  2. The consigner agrees they are the owner of all items they are consigning.
  3. Consignors can use their account credit in the store to purchase items or take a check at any time.
    • Any consigners requiring a mailed check will incur a $2.00 per check mailing fee.
    • All fees will be deducted from the earned amount.
    • For lost checks, there is a $2.00 re-issue fee.
  4. A one-time new consigner account set-up fee* of $5 will be charged to your account.
    This is a one-time fee for new consigner accounts; it covers storage fees and consigner account access fees.
  5. We will do our best to safeguard your items. However, we are not responsible for lost shipments or any damage or losses beyond our control. By consigning with us, you are agreeing to waive any claim of rights against Shop Eight 16 Consignment LLC. You agree to take all risks of loss or damage to items being consigned.
  6. After 1 year of inactivity, any unsold inventory or remaining balance will become the property of Shop Eight 16 Consignment LLC. ‘Activity’ includes selling an item, taking a check, or using account credit.
  7. We conduct sales periodically, and your items will be marked down accordingly.
  8. Choose Return or Donate for ALL items dropped off that do not sell by the end of the appropriate season (minimum 2 months on the sales floor, maximum 6 months).
  9. If end-of-season items are not picked up within 7 days of proper notification, they become the property of Shop Eight 16 Consignment LLC.
  10. Proper notification is a minimum of one email and one text message to the contact information in the consignor account.
  11. Shop Eight 16 Consignment reserves the right to store off-season inventory for the consignors without access permissions.
  12. Consignors are responsible for updating account contact information.
  13. Shop Eight 16 Consignment reserves the right to change policies (including percentage splits) at any time. The change would affect items consigned in the future upon a new signature/agreement to the new policies.
  14. Consignors should return to the store by close of business the following day of dropping off to pick up any no-thank-yous.  Please check current business hours.
    • When your drop-off is complete, we will send a courtesy text message to the cell phone number provided. The pickup policy stands firm regardless of whether they receive a text message or not.
    • Consignors can opt out of promotional text messages but cannot opt-out of text messages regarding their consignment drop off.
    • If no thank-you’s are not picked up within 72 hours of notification, they become the property of Shop Eight 16 Consignment.
  15. If person A is dropping off for consignor B, person A signs as the responsible party for consignor B’s no thank-you’s, and all procedures apply to consignor A’s items & account (the party dropping off items on consignment).
  16. If you choose to have your items returned and they are not picked up by the specified date and time (as communicated via email and text sent at the end of every season), and if there is no communication from you, those items will become store property, as outlined in our Policies & Procedures (P&P) page (#10). Should this occur for a second time, your account will be transitioned to donation status, and you will no longer have the option to retrieve any unsold items. Additionally, a $10.00 fee will be charged to your consignor account.
